Ios, one of the most  beautiful islands in Greece, with its high mountains, arid terrains and deep inset bays, is an intense setting in which to spend a week or more during summer.  The unique atmosphere found only in the Cyclades: the deep blue of the day time sky, the hot sun and beautiful colours of the sea combine, together with the island's hospitality, to create a sense of genuine relaxation; surely the right setting for a week of language training.

English, Italian and Greek language courses on Ios start in June and go through to September.  Weekly courses, 2 hours a day for 5 days, take place at Petra Villas hotel, situated at Yialos beach. Study sessions concentrate on intensive conversation and other activities designed to stimulate learning.
