Mark  has been in Milan teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for almost twenty years.  Originally from the Notting Hill area of London, he finished Business Studies  and travelled, arriving in Milan after a period spent in the U.S.A.

Starting work at one of the top language schools, he gained early experience in important Italian and multinational companies in the Lombardy region, these included ENEL, BTicino, Agusta, Montedison and Henkel Italia.  Since 1990, he has worked as a freelance teacher acquiring a valid list of clients with references that include: Mr Gabriele Albertini, Mayor of Milan from 1997 to 2006, the University of Milan, where he lectures to Ph.D students, Unicredito banca, the leading bank in Italy, important law firms like Ichino Brugnatelli & Associates, multinationals including PricewaterhouseCoopers, MCann-Erickson Worldwide and D'A,L,V BBDO, as well as internationally recognized Italian companies such as Dolce e Gabbana. 

Mark has a degree in education, and a TEFL certificate qualifying him to teach. 

His job permits him lengthy summer breaks, which he invariably spends with his family in the Greek islands.  His passion for Greece has encouraged him to set up summer courses on the  island of Ios in the Cyclades.
